Murphy’s Ice Cream is the best tasting ice cream I never tasted! Just 5 minutes on their Website and I’m convinced I need to fly over to Ireland and give it a try right away.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ireland’s Best

Brothers Sean and Kieran Murphy started Murphys Ice Cream in Kerry Ireland in 2000, with the goal of making the best ice cream in the world. If pictures are worth a thousand taste buds then they may have succeeded. If you’re on the left-side of the pond as I am then you’ll need to fly to Ireland to try it out because they’re keeping it to themselves and their neighbors for now.Three things about this Irish ice cream company struck me:

1. Their original mission to create the best ice cream in the world is clearly conveyed in the excellent photos on their main website and their blog.
2. Sharing their recipes for all to see on their blog is merciful for those of us across this suddenly cruel ocean.
3. They’ve managed to pack their Murphy’s personality into just a few pages for the world to see online. Not only does their ice cream look addictive, but they look like the kind of people who can make a living making (and eating) ice cream without pissing us off.
